The birds are doing fine! I've recently taken up baroque guitar, and I understand you may have a scanned copy of both books by Ferdinando Valdambrini (which I'd like to get my hands on, and I in turn have a digital copy of the Henry Francois de Gallot manscript if you are still looking for one. If you send me your email (mine is evan.balaban@mcgill.ca) I can give you access to the Dropbox folder where the Gallot is stored, and where you could deposit a copy of the Valdambrini if you are so inclined.

If you haven't got the loose fret fixed before Tuesday, the usual stopgap is to wedge a little bit of matchstick under it to tighten it up.

My theorbo frets are in sad shape, and I have a gig on Tuesday. I lost your e-mail, and tel. When my last laptop crashed.
2nd fret was buzzing, and when I tried to rotate the fret a bit, the May I call or email you? My cell--- 914 479 8627

I am doing a PhD on Guitar Making of 19th Century London. Many years ago, in my last life I worked for an auction house in London and we sold June a Bambina guitar by Louis Panormo (not one of the Pratten models). I am desperate to trace this guitar and obtain some information.
I have written to Monica via the same way as I did you.
Thank you for the leads.
I guess soon you'll be going to the bar in Manhattan for another drink.
If I track this guitar down, I'll send you some money to have one on me too!
