Early Guitars and Vihuela

A network for historic guitars and vihuelas

Progress has been a bit sow on the baroque guitar build, but I have veneered the peghead (with offcuts of the ribs from the two lutes I am also making - conveniently one rosewood and one sycamore ;o) and rough-fitted the pegs.

I ran into the same problem myself both here and in the lute.ning group during the last year or two only. It affected certain pictures (seemingly at random) in a series of pictures from the same camera and same shooting occasion, so the pictures were technically speaking identical. I had to skip the deformed pictures.

It has happened on cittern.ning before. Could it be something to do with ning?

Hello Gavin, I am not sure how to correct that. I have not seen that effect before on this site! Maybe you can remove the images and upload them again?

Does anyone know how to stop the aspect ratio of the photo being changed, Strad's design is a bit more elegant than that!
