Hi Neil, don't worry too much about temperature. What you should watch however is humidity in the house, or at least in the room where you keep your instrument(s). Sudden chanches in humidity cause cracks in instruments. The best thing to get is a hygrostatic room humidifier, they are not too expensive and will keep a room at a constant humidity.
