I've been playing the lute since the beginning of 2009 and am loving it! I've been composing for the lute too - check out my website to hear and download tablature of them.

I'm joining here because I am strongly intrigued by the Vihuela and Baroque Guitar forms. If you have any advice about how to go about buying one (and a cheapish maker), please leave a comment!

    I believe Carlos Gonzales (who made my guitar) can make a student model for approx 1700 - 1800 euros. Another Carlos Gonzales I know may be able to do it for less. I will look for contact information to post...
