I don't own one of Jacks instruments but have played them on various occassions. Jack is a very accomplished player so his instruments, I can only speak to those that I've tried, were made with the player in mind and as such, excellent to play. They also display great workmanship and a lovely tone.

 

If you're thinking of getting one I don't think you can go wrong.

 

Peg dope works well on the pegs. You can get a little stick at any music store which sells violins.
